 A charming, traditional  Victorian Scottish granite villa with a cosy wood burning stove and a contemporary country interior. 

Situated in Colvend on the outskirts of the popular seaside village of Rockcliffe, this beautifully renovated detached , character cottage has views of  White Loch and provides an ideal base to explore the Solway Coastline and rolling Galloway countryside. The beaches of Rockcliffe, Kippford and Sandyhills are close by.

There are wonderful forest, coastal and loch side walks from the doorstep. Easy access to Dalbeattie Forest, one of the 7Stanes mountain biking trails. The delightful sailing village of Kippford is a short walk from Rockcliffe along the Jubilee Path.

Loch View has underfloor heating and a cosy wood burning stove and so is suitable for all year round. King and twin bedrooms, shower room and bathroom. Large open plan kitchen / diner and cosy lounge with  a smart TV. Free WiFi. Private cottage garden with seating and BBQ. Off road parking for two cars and bike lock up.

Weekly bookings from a Saturday from Easter to November. November to April short stays available three and four nights.

 

 One well behaved dog is welcome. Please advise when booking so that we can make provision for your pet. Charge applies

Babies welcome. we are sorry but the cottage is not suitable for toddlers and children under 4 years old.
